Hamish is President and co-founder of Forge Building Company, LLC. With hands-on building experience exceeding 20 years, he has partnered with Hayden Farrell to lead one of the fastest growing companies in the region. Hamish’s experience enabled the development of a proprietary method for designing and erecting metal buildings, applying the technology primarily to self-storage facilities. Large and unique building types are also included in Forge’s portfolio as well. Hamish calls Boise, Idaho home where he lives with his wife and two children. Beyond being an innovative steel building expert, he is an avid hunter, sportsman, and rugby coach.
Hayden is Vice President and co-founder of Forge Building Company, LLC. Drawing on more than 20 years of previous building experience, Hayden co- founded Forge Building Company in 2007. Since then, Forge has expanded into an industry leader specializing in engineered building design and development, and construction of self-storage facilities and large metal buildings. Hayden’s hands on experience in the building industry gives him unique and specialized expertize in project development and completion. Hayden resides in Boise with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys golfing, surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking and traveling.
Lisa has over 25 years of progressive experience in the accounting field focusing on construction and construction management. With a hands on management style she has the demonstrated ability to effectively lead a large organization through all aspects of the accounting cycle.
She is proactive in the day to day company financial operations and helps the owners both set and achieve their financial goals.
Ian joined the Forge team in 2019 to oversee the General Contracting division. Ian brings over 22 years of construction experience and leadership to the team. Along with a broad base of construction knowledge Ian has an extensive background in architecture, project analysis, and engineering solutions. He is proficient at identifying critical paths, budget management, and client relations. He has project experience throughout the U.S. with his last 12 years focusing on the Northwest. In his free time Ian enjoys all the outdoor activities that Idaho has to offer including rock climbing, fishing, skiing, kayaking, and camping.
James Wieting, Sales Manager, specializes in self-storage development across the Western United States. He's been with Forge for over 4 years and has more than 15 years of sales and management experience. James is based out of Boise, Idaho but frequently travels to Seattle, Portland, Denver and Las Vegas to name a few, so don't be surprised if you see him in the airport or on the road. He's never met a stranger and when he's not on the road, you can find him camping, hunting, snowmobiling and spending time with his wife and 3 children in the beautiful mountains of Idaho.
Phil recently joined the Forge Team after 5 years in Technology Sales. His diverse background includes building and running restaurants, working with general contractors and growing up in the commercial roofing business. Phil is based out of Boise, Idaho and travels to Colorado, Montana, Utah and Eastern Idaho or wherever in the eastern U.S. that an opportunity awaits. Aside from being a people person Phil has coached both High School and Youth Lacrosse, climbed high mountains, rafted long rivers, the rest of the time you can find him with his wife and two children in Boise, Idaho.
Kraig joined the Forge Building Company Team in 2016 and is responsible for project management and construction. He is a graduate of the Boise State University construction management program with a minor in business management. Kraig brings with him a lifetime association with the building industry. Since joining Forge, Kraig has overseen the project management division with detail and care. In his free time, he enjoys snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities.
Scotty Sundin is the newest addition the Forge Building Company family. Scotty has over 23 years’ experience in the Self-Storage industry from storage building sales and erection, roll up door sales and installation, storage remix and refurbishing of older facilities to mezzanine design on existing warehouse buildings. Scotty has built in just about every possible self-storage opportunity. Scotty resides in Grants Pass, OR with his wife Laurie with 5 kids and their families close by. You will find then enjoying river rafting and golfing in the summer and skiing in the winter and fishing throughout the seasons. He says there is always room for one more and welcomes everyone to enjoy his Southern Oregon experience with him.
Apollo heads up Forge Building Company’s complaint department. In those rare instances when a client is disappointed by one of our solutions, Apollo is firm but fair in his approach to “encouraging” the team to atone for the error. A regular visitor to the main office, he is also effective at obtaining nourishment from every teammate (some more than others). Apollo is also the company’s most eligible bachelor – one look at him will tell you he is adored and sought after.
